Mike Pfeiffer, a Microsoft Exchange Server Most Valuable Professional (MVP), has vast experience as a migration engineer on the server side, working on complex projects beginning in the late-1990s.

His time in the trenches includes experience as principal architect and technical lead on many large-scale Active Directory and Exchange implementations.

He says he spends most of his time these days, “working on Microsoft’s Unified Communications platform and automating every repetitive task that I can find with PowerShell.”

With more than 13 years’ experience as a systems engineer and enterprise consultant, Mike provides instruction at Interface in Exchange 2010, Lync Server 2010 and PowerShell.
His Exchange topics include design and implementation, administration, co-existence with legacy systems and performing migrations. Instruction is a mix of lectures and student discussion and participation, supplemented by hands-on labs that ensure students can use what they learn.

“Our labs set us apart,” Mike says. “If you can get through our labs, you can get it done when you get back to the office.”
