Course Description
This is a five-day course that prepares A+ certification candidates for the CompTIA A+ Essentials (220-701) exam. Course includes hands-on exercises, a personal toolkit and instruction in the use of the tools of the trade. CompTIA A+ Essentials measures the necessary competencies of an entry-level IT professional with a recommended 500 hours of hands-on experience in the lab or field. It tests for technical understanding of computer technology, networking and security, as well as the communication skills and professionalism now required of all entry-level IT professionals.
Audience
This course is for individuals in the IT service support functions whose responsibilities include Help Desk operations, installation, preventative maintenance, networking, security and troubleshooting.
Prerequisites
No prior technical computer experience is necessary.
