Interface Cisco Instructor Jeremy Cioara will be presenting: BRKCRT-9103 CCNA Voice: Real World Overview and Certification Preparation at Cisco Live in San Diego, California from 3:15pm – 5:15pm PT on June 13, 2012.

This session covers the basics of IP Telephony as presented in the Cisco Introducing Cisco Voice and Unified Communications Administration (ICOMM) course that are needed to pass the ICOMM exam (640-461). The speaker will paint the vision of Unified networks by using Voice over IP (VoIP) and then outlines the path to reach a converged network infrastructure using Cisco network devices, Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express (CME), Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM), Unity Connection (CUC), and Unified Presence (CUPS).

    Waited a long time for release! Finally we have a guide to learn the CUCM. Would be good if Cisco would inculde a trial copy of the CUCM with the book as it is very difficult to get the required software to set up the lab. The labs are equipment intensive so do a little homework prior to committing to the book.
