Mike Pfeiffer is an accomplished IT architect, consultant, writer and conference speaker with 20 years of experience in the tech industry. After spending many years as an enterprise consultant and technical trainer, Mike went to work for Microsoft helping some of their biggest customers move to the cloud. Later, he joined Amazon Web Services (AWS) where he worked as a solutions architect, spending most of his time speaking at live events, writing code to build fully automated solutions, and helping customers and partners architect solutions in the cloud.
These days Mike runs his own consulting business that specializes in cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and AWS. When he’s not teaching a class, Mike spends his time in the field, working with customers as they migrate applications, implement new services, and develop applications in the cloud. His vast experience with infrastructure and application development brings a unique mix of skills to both his consulting projects and training classes.
Prior to working for Microsoft, Mike was a multi-year recipient of the prestigious Microsoft MVP award. He was also part of a select group of individuals who earned the Microsoft Certified Master certification. Today he holds several other certifications from Microsoft and AWS.
Mike is a published author and has written a number of books on shell scripting and automation. He regularly develops training courseware, publishes video training, and contributes to several industry websites that cover cloud computing technologies.
Mike is one of the best IT instructors I’ve ever had. Thanks Mike!
