Learning Path 2 – Describe Azure Architecture and services

This learning path explores Microsoft Azure, it architecture, and some of the most commonly used services and resources.

• Azure compute and networking services
• Azure storage services
• Azure identity, access, and security

After completing this Learning Path, students will be able to:

• Describe the core architectural components of Azure.
• Describe Azure compute and networking services.

Learning Path 3 – Describe Core Solutions.

In this Learning Path, you’ll learn about the management and governance resources available to help you manage your cloud and on premises resources.

• Features and tools in Azure for governance and compliance
• Feature and tools for managing and deploying Azure resources
• Monitoring tools in Azure

After completing this Learning Path, students will be able to:

• Describe cost management in Azure.

The audience for this course is IT professionals just beginning to learn about cloud computing and how Microsoft Azure provides that service. The courses are suitable for technical students who are involved with cloud services and need an overview of Azure products and services.

This course is suitable for IT personnel who are just beginning to work with Azure. This audience wants to learn about our offerings and get hands-on experience with the product. This course primarily uses the Azure portal and the Azure command-line interface (CLI) to create services. Where the CLI is used, solutions are provided, so the learner does not require scripting skills. Students will gain confidence to take other role-based courses and certifications, such as Azure Administrator. This course combines lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on labs. It will also help prepare someone for the AZ-900 exam.

Note: To pass the certification test, studying outside the course may be required to ensure all the concepts are fully understood.

There are no prerequisites for taking this course. Familiarity with cloud computing is helpful but isn't necessary.
