Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM®) Certification Exam Prep Training Course
CAPM-001
This course helps individuals gain more responsibility and increase their skills in their current project role by providing additional knowledge of current project management principles and terminology to work on a wide range of projects using a variety of approaches: agile, predictive, and hybrid.
This course provides the essential knowledge in building a career as a project manager and provides the foundational knowledge and skills that project teams demand. It focuses on an individual’s knowledge of Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts. It also includes components related to Predictive plan-based methods, Adaptive (agile) frameworks/methods, and Business Analysis frameworks.
PME100 covers the content that is included in the Exam Content Outline for the PMI Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM ®) Certification. The understanding of this skillset is essential to pursuing entry and associate level project management career opportunities, such as project coordinator and junior project manager. Whether you are looking to build on your current skillset or pursue an exciting new career, the CAPM ® distinguishes your skills and empowers you to build the project management career of your dreams.
This course will satisfy the 23 contact hours required to sit the CAPM ® certification exam and are typically used as part of the training requirement for the CAPM certification application. Should the student already hold a PMI certification (ACP, RMP, PBA, etc.), this course would count towards recertification.
Test Bank
Our current test bank consists of over 3000 questions that have been provided from PMI. These questions were written by the same individuals who write the questions for the exam. They were not selected to be used on the exam mostly because they are very close to other questions already on the exam.
We have taken the questions provided by PMI and grouped them to align with the content in each of the course lessons. To encourage continued practice answering the questions, we randomly select 20 questions from the bank of questions for each lesson.
The test bank for the CAPM ® is divided based on the domains – Foundation, Predictive, Adaptive, and Business Analysis. We use the same format, starting with 20 questions at a time for each domain – and then provide the full simulator – but since the CAPM ® questions are divided into two groups of 75 questions each – that simulator randomly pulls 75 questions from the full test bank.
We recommend that students practice the questions by lesson until they consistently are achieving scores of 85% or better, and then scheduling their exam date about two weeks out so they can continue to practice a few rounds of the 75-question CAPM simulator including random questions from all of the individual lesson questions.
