Jeff has more than 35 years’ experience working with database technology and has taught SQL Server at Interface for more than 10 years.
His SQL Saturday session focuses on ranking and aggregate functions, as well as SQL 2012 enhancements such as the ability to frame the scope of the window and new functions like LAG, LEAD, FIRST_VALUE and LAST_VALUE. Jeff sums up his enthusiasm for SQL’s expanded functionality with a quote from SQL guru Itzik Ben-Gan: “Windowing functions are the best thing to happen since sliced bread!”
